What starts as an idyllic holiday in the Austrian alps soon puts family bonds to the test. The sweltering heat is only the first of many sparks to mount tension among Ewa’s family. The family seems changed, parents and daughters have much to talk about… Amidst the serene sounds of Mozart’s violin sonata in E minor, that conjure up images of an intact world, “Idyll” is a story about family upheaval.
