Many crowd-pullers, which have sold out halls, concerts and opera houses around the world, guarantee very special moments on Vienna’s Rathausplatz.

In addition to high-calibre operas such as The Magic Flute, Madama Butterfly and Otello, this year’s Film Festival will feature numerous concert recordings of pop and rock greats such as P!nk, Queen, Imagine Dragons, The Rolling Stones, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Amy Winehouse.

Classical music, dance, jazz, world music and musicals are also more than duly represented again this year. A wonderful programme for young and old – with free admission once again, of course.
