Vienna in the days of the emperors: a forbidden march, fresh pretzel sticks and two people who have just fallen in love make for the perfect material for operettas. Deutschmeisterkorporal Willi composed a march entitled “Spring Parade”. Due to many complications, a performance ban is issued. The march may not be played unless ordered by the emperor… With the help of a little trick, young Marika succeeds in persuading the emperor.
