In “Mother Hulda” by the Brothers Grimm, everything revolves around Golden Mary and Pitch Mary. In this version it’s Goldmartin who works tirelessly. The audience sings the children’s song “Who wants to see hard-working craftsmen” and is accompanied by the SWR Vokalensemble with virtuosity. Latvian composer Uģis Prauliņš has composed an enchanting piece. You can hear that the composer played in a rock band in his youth. Also with the “Scherenschleifer Song”, which rhythmically involves the audience.
