“La Bohème” tells the story of a group of young artists in 19th-century Paris and the love affair between the poet Rodolfo and his neighbour Mimì, a poor seamstress. Zeffirelli’s classic production, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, is known for its detailed sets that authentically depict Parisian life in the 19th century. The atmosphere ranges from the artists’ shabby attic to the lively Latin Quarter with the Café Momus.
