Alma Deutscher began composing her favourite fairy tale; “Cinderella”; at age eight. Unlike the Brothers Grimm version; music plays a central role. Cinderella is a young composer; envied by her stepfamily and degraded to a mere music copyist. The prince is a poet who; through their shared love for the arts; finds his way to Cinderella.
