A unique project involving the two largest music universities in the country, in collaboration with ORF III, enters its third round this year. Following celebrations for Beethoven and Mozart, emerging talents from the Austrian music scene will perform the most beautiful works of Joseph Haydn. Students from the two Viennese music universities, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) and the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK), will take the stage. A colourful mix of quartets and quintets, a trumpet concerto, a love duet, symphonies, and a “creative” oratorio will showcase the compositional diversity of the great composer of the Viennese Classical era.
